On a chilly day in Downtown New Orleans creative powerhouses of high fashion and the ultimate in luxury accommodations met to produce a high fashion photoshoot in a way that has never been done in the New Orleans region. Harold Clarke Couturier Atelier is a brand that embodies sophistication and elegance with a collection and clientele to prove it. The Roosevelt New Orleans A Waldorf Astoria Hotel, has been raising the bar in the area of luxury hospitality since the 1800’s, and has opened its doors to fashion designer Harold Clarke’s visiting clients.  Special thanks to the professionals that helped make this project a success.

Meet Darian Ellis...

Model. Daughter. Friend. Sister. Finalist on America's Next Top Model Cycle 19 and now House Model for Harold Clarke Couturier Atelier. We met Darian during a 2013 Harold Clarke Model Search. See her moving forward at Fashion Weeks from New York to New Orleans. I am confident that Darian’s modeling career with take her around the world. She is that good and a true professional. Darian is in the Teddy Roosevlet Suite of the Roosevelt New Orleans wearing lace, ringlets and stones like no other. Darian is wearing a gown featuring plunging black satin over a black sequined full skirt of French lace over nude lining.

Meet Christina Rigaud...

We also met Christina at a 2013 Harold Clarke Model Search. Christina Rigaud was raised in a traditional native Louisiana French Kréyol home by her grandmother and has been involved in several television and film productions, as well as a number of local fashion events and urban gardening community projects. Christina is a proud advocate of green, sustainable, eco-friendly, initiatives like louisianaculturefarms.com. Here her passion takes center stage in the Blue Room at the Roosevelt while wearing three dimensional beading and embroidery exclusively crafted for Harold Clarke Couturier Atelier. Floral garden pastel threadwork with hand beading and appliqued halter gown. The back is low to the waist line. This gown features a silk satin faced organza full bottom.

Meet Caitlin Trotter...

Caitlin is an innovative, edgy, free thinking 17 year old girl, originally born in Canada. In her free time, she likes to read and draw. She is a completely fresh face. However, her preformance during this photoshoot shows that her future in modeling and entertainment is very brite. She has a look that reads retro chic which makes her perfect for the business.  Caitlin has plans to audition for every opportunity in modeling and entertainment that presents itself. It is her intention to pursue her education to maximize her options while she lives the dream.

Meet Imani Bass

Imani is the granddaughter of fashion designer Harold Clarke. She grew up in the fashion business and began her fashion career as a child model. Later, she continued with the company as an intern, design apprentice, and then showroom assistant. She has worked on endless projects for the design house in all areas. She is an art student with her most recent credit being the cover shoot for the last issue of NOLA Nights Magazine featuring her grandfather. As an adult, her first showroom test shot became an international ad featured in The Ritz Carlton Magazine. As a beauty and my daughter, we are all excited to see what the world has in store for Imani Bass.

Make Up

Christian Joseph of the Waldorf Astoria Spa under the supervision of Waldorf Astoria Spa Director Ms. Jill Haidle.

I gave Christian the creative direction and she ran with it. The outcome was flawless. Glamor is her life at the Waldorf Astoria Spa. It shows on each model in every shot.

Hair

Ariel Gallien and the glam team of Ringlets Salon. Ariel did a great job leading the team in order to maintain the creative direction of the shoot. She acomplished the mision of vintage glamor required to compliment the location and collection. We look forward to working with Ariel again.

The Location

The Roosevelt New Orleans

a Waldorf Astoria Hotel

We would like to thank the amazing team at The Roosevelt New Orleans for granting our organization permission to shoot our branding campaingn at their location.  The Roosevlet New Orleans reflect the ultimate in luxury hospitality in New Orleans.

The Director - Aimeé Clarke Bass
I am the source for the development of cross-marketing projects and promotional opportunities for the design house. My efforts include the photo shoot project between Harold Clarke Couturier Atelier and The Roosevelt New Orleans a Waldorf Astoria Hotel, model searches, special events, this website and many other projects past and present.  At my first photoshoot with the company I was a marketing assistant and also styled the hair and make up. The result was an international ad campaign in the French edition of a couture wedding gown magazine. That magazine spread became the catalyst for the brands decision to relocate to New Orleans.  The first time I stood behind the camera for the company the result was an international ad campaign in the Ritz Carlton Magazine.  I am very excited about what I have acheived with this shoot and look forward to incorporating the images selected throughout our branding moving forward.
